Teachers Day 2024

Sunbeams Playschool celebrated Teachers Day on September 5, 2024.

Our Principal, Mrs. Susan Ninan, expressed her gratitude to the staff for their hard work, dedication and patience, and the teachers thanked her for her support and guidance.

Several of the children expressed their appreciation for their teachers through hand-made cards, handwritten Teachers Day wishes, and many honoured the teachers with flowers and gifts.

The teachers also received gifts from the Principal, who also treated all the staff to a yummy lunch!

Children’s Day 2024

As we do each year, we celebrated our children this year too with great excitement and enthusiasm on the occasion of the birthday of Shri Jawaharlal Nehru on 14 November.

A special assembly was conducted during which the Principal and the teachers prayed for each student.

The staff made the day even more special for the kids by organizing an art competition. For each class, the first and second place winners received prizes – sketch pens or colouring pencils.

For the children, the best part of the programme had to be the party – the kids were served with delicious snacks, and a parent generously organized a cake that was cut and distributed to all our children.

The day ended with each child being gifted a hand-crafted gift, which is a specialty of Sunbeams Playschool, along with a lot of goodies tucked away in their bags.

The children had a fun-filled day with a lot of sharing, fun and laughter, making it memorable for them as well as the staff.

Fancy Dress Competition 2024

We have our Fancy Dress Competition held every year during the month of September. Each year it is based on different themes and is judged by eminent personalities.

This year, our theme was “Rhyme Time” and it was a really fun and enjoyable time for children, parents and the staff. It is always amazing to see kids of this age come out of their little shells and showcase their talents. At Sunbeams Playschool, we are always encouraged by and delighted at what our children are capable of.

It wouldn’t be fair if the winners were not acknowledged:
Our very own Honey Bee, Gianna Braca, had collected enough honey to give her friends.
Tiana Grace did a graceful job as an Eco-Friendly Teapot, made of paper cups.
